 Black Badge Course 

                                  

****Please thoroughly review all information, provided in this document****

In order to participate in this course:

  • ·         YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF IPSC BC.

You can register, as a new member, online, through https://ipscbc.com/new-member-signup/   

  • ·         Registration includes:

  • ·         Black Badge Kits. 

Proof of IPSC membership must be provided to the instructor, prior to the start of the course.

If you do not have an IPSC membership, you cannot participate in the course

 

What is provided by KDFGC?

·         Qualified, experienced instructors

·         Training venue – classroom and indoor range

·         Training manuals

·         Targets

·         Patches

Course Candidates are responsible to bring ALL MANDATORY EQUIPMENT listed below:                                   

Mandatory Equipment Requirements:

****In Order to participate in this course ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

1.       Handgun

-          9mm or larger 

-          Must be in good working order.

2.       Holster

·      The holster must be compatible with the firearm that you are bringing to the

      course.

·         The holster must be in good working order.

·         The holster must cover the trigger guard.

·         The holster cannot have a finger release.  

·         ****NO Serpa style holsters****

3.       Very sturdy belt

·         Preferably a two-piece Velcro system

·         must be compatible with the holster and mag pouches that you are bringing to the course.

4.       Minimum of 4 magazines

  ·        Must be compatible with the firearm that you are bringing to the course.

·         Must be compatible with the ammunition that you are bringing to the course.

5.       Mag pouches

·         Must be compatible with the belt that you are bringing to the course.

·         Must be compatible with the magazines that you are bringing to the course.

6.       Ammunition

·         700-800 rounds minimum

·         Must feed reliably through your magazine and firearm. 

·         NO LEAD BULLETS.   

7.       Good quality hearing protection

 ·          Must fit properly and be in good working order.

8.       Good quality eye protection.

·         Must fit properly and be in good working order.

**You cannot borrow, rent or buy any of this equipment from KDFGC, or course instructors**

     Logistics:

Training Facility - Location and Parking: 

Upon arrival, at Kelowna and District Fish and Game Club, 4041 Casorso Rd:

-          You will see an electric gate to the left. Stay to the right when you enter the club, drive up the hill to the Training Centre. The is ample parking

FIRST DAY - ARRIVAL:

1.      Please arrive, and be on site, by 740AM.

2.      Park in front of the training Building (directions provided in this document).

3.      Enter the training building via the covered front entrance.

4.      Do not remove any equipment from your vehicle until you first meet with the instructor and receive further instructions from him.

MEALS: You are responsible for your own meals and refreshments.

               There is a full-service kitchen on site.

All sales are final on course fees. We have committed space, paid instructors and limited spots.
