KDFGC 1500 Discipline – Indoor Range

The KDFGC 1500 Discipline is a handgun and holster target shooting sport focused on developing accuracy, speed, and practical shooting skills.

Practice:
Practice sessions are held regularly at the Indoor Range, typically on Wednesdays and Sundays. Please check the club calendar for current dates and times.

KDFGC members are welcome to come watch a practice session and learn more about the sport.

Equipment:
Common competition calibres include .38 Special and 9mm, and .22 calibre may also be used for practice. Participants require an appropriate handgun, holster, belt, magazines or speed loaders, and pouches.

A typical practice uses approximately 100–120 rounds.

Requirements:
Participants must have completed the KDFGC Handgun Level 1 & 2 Courses, an equivalent qualification, or appropriate professional holster training. An evaluation by the Discipline Range Officers is also required.

Fees:
An Indoor Range punch card is required for the session:

• Indoor Range 10-punch card: $60

• KDFGC 1500 target punch card: $20 for 10 punches

• Target fee: $3 cash per visit
